Our client Belfast Harbour Police has created an exciting new leadership opportunity for the role of Inspector.
Handling 71% of the region’s sea borne cargo, Belfast Harbour is one of Northern Ireland’s most successful and progressive businesses. At 2000 acres the Harbour Estate is one-fifth of metropolitan Belfast and is home to more than 760 business including the City Airport, Citi Group, Baker McKenzie and the Odyssey and in recent years has become a focal point for urban regeneration with exciting new residential, office and retail developments in Titanic Quarter and City Quays.
Belfast Harbour Police (BHP) play a key role in the safety and security of this vibrant and growing community. As a small modern police team with full constabulary powers, BHP provides a full range of policing services from Community Policing, CID and policing of high- profile events through to unique functions such as cruise ship security.
The new role of Inspector will be responsible for the day to day management of policing throughout the Harbour Estate and will be a key element of our organisational development. This is a key leadership role within BHP and will appeal to police staff with proven experience at inspector level policing combined with the drive, determination and enthusiasm to want to succeed in this unique policing role.
