As an associate of Clarendon Executive, Mairéad will support both post-hire Executive Development and Senior Executive performance and progression.

Mairéad has more than 25 years’ experience in Human Resources at a senior level, with 19 of these at Director level in the broadcasting industry (television, radio and digital).

As former Group Human Resources Director at UTV Media plc, she was a key player during a period of significant change for UTV, which transformed itself from a purely regional television company into one of the most successful media groups in the UK and Ireland.

In a demanding public company environment Mairéad provided strategic leadership, change management and delivery of a high performing human resource function across the Group, managing HR teams based in Belfast, Dublin, London and Manchester.

Mairéad is a member of the Senate, Queen’s University Belfast and a Board member of Northern Ireland Opera. She is a former Board Member of the Grand Opera House Trust, Northern Ireland Screen and of Creative Skillset (the UK Sector Skills Council for the Creative Industries).

Given her extensive HR background and Executive and Life Coaching accreditation, Mairéad provides a range of professional coaching and HR consultancy services to Clarendon clients.  Through the Executive Coaching process Mairéad supports individuals at a career crossroads, considering options post restructuring and redundancy, drafting professional recruitment material (such as CVs and LinkedIn profiles) and preparing for interview and selection processes.

As a HR Consultant Mairéad supports clients across the full range of HR services, from taking on the HR function within the business, supporting in-house HR teams to providing expert HR advice and guidance to organisations as they deal with particularly challenging or new HR processes.
