Clarendon bolsters executive coaching arm with two heavyweight hires

It brings to three the number of new hires the company has made in the last six months, following the recruitment in April of consultant Emma Kieran from a rival firm.

Founder and Managing Partner of Clarendon Executive, Ciaran Sheehan said; “This is a strategically important move for us. Over the past 18 months, in response to market and client demand, we have made a significant commitment to growing the firm’s offering around ‘post-hire’ executive development and senior team progression.

“In Hugh, Mairéad and Anne Daley, we now have three qualified experts to deliver service excellence in the area of leadership development, further strengthening our leading position in the local market.

“Hugh and Mairéad bring a wealth of experience in dealing with the most acute challenges faced by our business leaders and organisations. Hugh has a considerable track record in organisational change along with his unparalleled knowledge and experience in assessing the leadership credentials of directors across the public sector.

“During her tenure at UTV, Mairéad provided strategic leadership, change management and delivery of a high performing human resource function across the Group, managing teams based in Belfast, Dublin, London and Manchester.”

He added; “Both will bring tremendous expertise and value to the team and of course to our clients and we are all looking forward to a very fruitful working relationship.”

Clarendon’s expertise spans the private, public and third sectors. The firm focuses on identifying talent at Board, NED, C-suite and senior executive level across the management disciplines (General Management, Commercial, Marketing, Digital) and operational effectiveness leadership roles (Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Technology, HR).
